My Interests

I am interested in playful experiences that facilitate human interaction. I'm also intrigued by emergent social dynamics in complex systems with cooperative and competitive elements.

Machine Learning

I recently helped set up the UK's AI Safety Institute. Before that I designed multi-agent research environments as an Environment Designer at DeepMind.

Video Games

I founded Fairytale Distillery and designed the competitive online game The Exiled. Before that I co-founded the Bit Barons and organized events like GameCamp Munich and Global Game Jam.
